Buddhashanti introduced Green Tara, a female buddhist mythical being, or Bodhisattva. He gave her spiritual lineage through other buddhist figures; Amitabha and Amoghasiddhi, showing her kindness, compassion, fearlessness and strength. All of these manifest in her beauty, her femininity, her openness and radiant giving to all beings.

He spoke of his strong personal  connection with Green Tara, arising from his initial attraction to her beauty and to a sense of her teachings being given to him in meditation and in particular circumstances, such as experiences whilst being on solitary retreats.and while being out in nature.

There was a good open discussion arising following our tea break. The evening concluded with a beautiful Puja dedicated Green Tara.
